How Do I Know if IB is Right for Me?

"An IB education requires students to learn on a deeper level, make connections to the world around them and ask questions. IB students are intellectually curious about the world, are critical and creative thinkers, and express ideas with confidence.

Leading college admissions expert Barmak Nassirian told Education Week that IB generally is regarded as “the gold standard of high school curriculum in admissions circles.”"

Application Process

Students decide in the 10th grade whether or not they want to be a part of the IB Diploma family. There will be a number of informational meetings in the fall for both students and parents to help answer your questions about the program requirements and benefits. Interested students fill out an application, get teacher recommendations, and participate in a brief interview. These components are not a means of determining a student's worth, but rather an opportunity to speak with the student and make sure that s/he has a full understanding of the program.

Applications for the IB Diploma Program can be found here: IB Diploma Program Application.
This is a Word document so feel free to type in your information before printing.
Applications are due 2/10/17
